- Clyde Baker Review added: 2018.01.17★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a totally traditional pub {does not serve food) but who needs to eat when you have 5 real ales 6 ciders and a stunning selection of whisky, whiskeys and bespoke gins. Staff and locals are cheerful and friendly. House is tied to the local brewery( Colchester brewerys) bit also serves a good selection of guest beers. It also socks good lagers but don't expect the usual flavourless national brands.
